Hello parfait beauties, first of all, I sincerely apologise for being M.I.A. Been very busy with work and fell ill a couple of times but I am back and ready to play. Today’s tutorial is inspired by this neck piece I got. From the moment I saw it, I was inspired but never really got round to creating to look. I have however defeated the laziness and we have ourselves what I like to call….THE TRIBAL BLUE look. I created this look using the 120 eyeshadow palette which I got a while back. For step by step pictures on how I created this look keep reading.

  2. 1. Starting with a clean surface, I primed my lids with the urban decay primer potion and NYX jumbo pencil in cottage cheese.

  3. 2. Next I applied a midtone brown to my crease and slightly above it.

  4. 3. I applied a bright purple eyeshadow to my crease.
  5. 4. Next, I applied black to my outer V blending it into the purple.

5. I applied a beautiful teal eyeshadow to the outer and inner lids.

6. I blended out the harsh lines with more purple eyeshadow,

7. Next I applied a silvery grey eyeshadow to the middle of the lid.

8. On the lower lashline, I applied some purple and the silvery grey eyeshadow.

9. I applied a black khol pencil to the waterline.

10. Then I highlighted my brow bone with a flesh toned gold from the same 120 eyeshadow palette.

I applied falsies, mascara, black gel eyeliner to the top lashline.

I finished the look with blush and glossh nude lips.

Have fun recreating the look and have yourselves a beautiful weekend. As usual all products are listed below. Xoxo.

Hello parfait beauties, so we will be talking glitter today. I have a love and hate relationship with glitter reason being that if used incorrectly, glitter could be tacky but if used correctly could be oh so fab.

Glitter is one of those things that keep popping up with different makeup trends. I personally¬†¬†like glitter for editorial, runway or avant garde makeup because you can go over the top and get really creative with it which is awesome and fun for me (Through out the post you’ll see pictures of an editorial look I created using glitter on my lips). That being said glitter can also be used in your day to day makeup application especially party looks. The trick is to place it on strategic areas of the face like inner corners of the eyes or the tiniest amount on the center of the lower lip. Glitter liners are also another fun way to add sparkle.

Ensure that you use glitter designed to be used on the face, yes not all glitters can be used on the face. Give it a go. Have fun and remember its makeup, it does come off. xoxo
