Pastels and Plum.

25 Mar

Hi parfait beauties….spring has sprung, a new week has been given and its the season of pastels. I love pastel colours. They are very flattering without being in your face yet make a statement. Aside nudes (which I’m currently loving) I’m leaning towards pastels this season. For today’s tutorial, I paired a pastel eye look with another colour of the season, orchid to create this fun look that I totally love.

Have fun recreating the look and remember to try atleast one pastel colour this week. As usual all products will be listed below.

                    1.Start with clean eyelids

2.Apply an eyeshadow base similar to the colour you will be using.

                    3. Apply the eyeshadow to the lid

4.Ensure the shadow is evenly distributed on the lid.

5. With a fluffy blending brush, apply a little purple shadow to the crease and blend into the pastel green.

6. With a large shader brush, apply a touch of highlight to the brow bone.

7. Line the eyes with black liquid liner.

8. Apply your favorite mascara.

9. Apply some false lashes.

10. Apply your favourite blush.

11. Line your lips. (pardon the giant nostrils hehehe)

12. Apply lipstick.

So this is the finished look. Below I added black eyeliner to the lower lid, intensified the blush and added a plum high shine gloss to amp up the look for nighttime.
